Filma stāsta par bijušo CIP (Centrālās Izlūkošanas Pārvalde) slepkavu Džonu Krisiju (John Creasy), alkoholiķi, kuru viņa draugs Reiborns (Rayburne), noalgo par Pitas Ramosas (Lupita Ramos) miesassargu.
